Lighthouse has always had a heart for missions at home and abroad.
Currently Lighthouse supports missions in the following areas:
- Dandenong - Cornerstone Contact Centre
Missions’ support is raised generously through committed regular giving, fund-raising events, OK Shop profits, and special creative ways. For example, Pastor Richard in 2005 ran from Adelaide to Melbourne in 22 days (1005kms) and raised $65,000 for Teen Challenge and every year since he runs a half-marathon to raise funds for TC.
Christmas time provides a great opportunity for missionaries to share Jesus at a time when people are open. It is a time of harvesting with many people visiting local churches to share in the blessings of the season.
For some missionaries in countries that don't celebrate Christmas it can be a lonely time. Please remember our missionaries at this time of year. You and your small groups could send greeting cards and do make sure to sign the Lighthouse Missions Christmas Cards as they circulate.
